And why is green so important today? I sure mentioned it three times.

I'm relaxing my eyes around the little garden from 1) watching my favorite TV shows, 2) following my series in the net, and 3) after an early morning of reading an e-book.  I'm too lazy to care for some other stuff so I have my "extravagance" one weekend.

With the Philippine standard of living space in the metro, I would surely wish to extend the "existence" of my mini-garden.  And I've personalized it, so as to show how I cherish its presence in contrast to the vastness of our entrance lawn in ancestral home but has been denied the attention as it served merely a transition from exterior to interior of the house.

How reversed - when it's scarce, it's in demand!

So here's my wishlist and what has been done in shaping my outside room so far.

Wishlist: How I'd like to copy this French gate-garden look.  The door-gate got me! And the greens and unique flower pots are very appealing!

Wishlist: Or should I have it in white? But the real question is, where's the space for all of these plants and the so nice fence and gate? LOL!

So for now, I've just made the most out of the space by covering it with green to get the garden appeal.

Varieties of greens are planted.  That spiky leaf-plant has a sweet fragrance and is a mosquito repellant! Isn't the space functional, too?

My Tabebuia is now blossoming! Hooray! It's a lovely tree when it's in full bloom. Leaves will be fewer, as if they all turned into flowers.
And of course, a cozy garden set + sandwich + orange juice = relaxation mode.

Aren't you joining me in finding your green day? I don't have a green joke to share, though. *grins*

Chill!
