Somebody is so hungry.  And timing is just perfect to cap a busy week.  The weather is a bit wet that makes one wants to just go straight to bed and eat food sideways.  But the busy streets just don't let one get out of it.  It's jam-packed with cars. Traffic flow is getting worse these few months.

And so the Ramen movement took place instantly.  This girl just have to have a mainit na sabaw to pacify the noise from below.  This is an occasion when tummy needs to be heard.  And to stop it, is to make it full-filled.

The nearest restaurant that looks promising and can make up for the crappy traffic jam on the street is the one with long-stemmed bamboo looking plant on a pot behind its clear glass walled front.

Customers lined up on seats at the entrance, waiting to be called up if there's table available.  My J and I are seated on the waiting area and asked for the menu while waiting.  We ordered to cut the waiting time.

We tried the Shoyu Ramen with chicken gyoza and small rice bowl set.  The noodle is chewy.  The bamboo shoots, fish cake, seaweeds and pork are tender to perfection.  We may be hungry but there's a tinge of bitter aftertaste on its broth that we can't both deny.  I've had a little bland experience on broth of Beef Ramen of Terriyaki Boy but its noodles is more tasty than this.  Although the latter is for a lesser budget.

I can't compare much to other Ramen here since I've yet to try the others. Maybe their Shio Ramen is better.  But at least, gone is my hungriness but less satisfying than I expected to have.

Nothing beats the original, though, which I've had chance to have one from a connecting flight in Japan.

Look at its noodles and imagine its creamy tasty broth, just give me some Ramen lovin' night! This is the kind of Ramen I've expected to have. But howdy?!

Is there a rumbly on that tumbly there?  For a quick fix, try the one nearest you.  Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is also in Taipei, Malaysia, Singapore, Hongkong, Indonesia, USA and Canada.
