Healthy Tuna Carbonara for the Lent

Happy Palm Sunday! In just a few days, Lenten break is coming up. Here's a very healthy and quick to prepare recipe for you on the lenten season. A few minutes is all that's needed for my tuna carbonara recipe. And the family loved it! I'm pretty sure you'll love it, too. It's a no sweaty, dear! Ready for it? Here's how.



Ingredients:

1 kg spaghetti, cooked
4 cans tuna flakes in vegetable oil, 180g per can; drained
3 pcs All purpose cream, 250mL
2 cans evaporated milk, 154 mL
1/2 head garlic, finely chopped
medium sized onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoon butter
3 tbsp. McCormick dried herbs
salt
cheese

Procedure:

1. Heat the pan. Melt the butter in low heat and sautee the garlic and onion.
2. Add the tuna flakes and stir cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Add salt to taste.
3. Pour the all purpose cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes in low heat.
4. Add the evaporated milk and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Turn off the heat.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti noodles. Mix it with the sauce and sprinkle some dried basil leaves.

Serve your tuna carbonara with some grated cheese.
