I am very excited to blog my recent trip to Baler, Aurora. Fresh from the getaway with two big bags still unpacked from Baler, here I am wishing that I can get back soon when the weather allows it!

Last weekend, hubby and I had double celebration. It's an annual thing. This year, we decided to make this year's venue something new and would not require airplane or boat to go into. Following Patty Laurel on IG leads me to booking this new resort hotel in Baler, Aurora which is the Costa Pacifica. And oh, how I fell in love with this place. And I'm not an ounce exaggerating! I really, really love it.

I instantly fell in love with the resorts pictures from their site, and much more in actual. Let me give you a quick how-to tips. It is definitely our major road trip for the year and it's our first time to go to Baler. Here's what we did to make this trip flawless.

First, I booked our hotel room with Agoda early this year. There are promos available when I was booking it so it's a plus on our budget. Before our date of arrival, we asked the hotel about the weather since it's raining most of the days now in Manila. And they were so happy to announce that the sun is up on their land, which means it's still summer in Baler!

We also asked about the road conditions going to their province and had a head-ups on what we can expect from the 6-hour drive to North from Manila. Since we don't know the place yet, hubby planned to depart at 5:00am. Which is yikes! Not on a Saturday! It was delayed an hour later but it's still early to my clock since we just finalized packing our things at around 1:00am. So, I'm a little worried that I'm dizzy in the morning. But I woke up to these lovely bouquet of flowers and my heart skips excitedly like a ray of sunshine. Kilig lang!

The roads has a light traffic that Saturday and we breeze through easily along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and then the national roads of provinces after. We passed at Tarlac, then to Nueva Ecija, and to Cabanatuan. People on the road and GPS lead us to pass thru via Pantabangan. It's all paved road except for a few meters when we reached Maria Aurora, Aurora - the first town of this province.

It's all scenic views going there and we're lucky enough if there are four or more cars that accompany us on the road. Mode of transport on the national roads seemed to be only buses of Genesis, tricycles and private cars.

We arrived at the hotel at around 12:15pm and we were efficiently assisted and welcomed on our accommodation. Sharing you the sunshine in Baler, here's more photos of Costa Pacifica and why I really love this place.

I just have to warn you, it's loaded with more lovely photos. Happy viewing!

What a gorgeous lobby! Every corner is in lovely details. So, anywhere I sit - I'm as radiant as this place. Hehe!

Full of colors in this place. Very vibrant, thus, nakaka-happy! Kahit pusong bato ka pa talaga! LOL!

The food is great and just look at the photos for it's impressive ambiance. It's much more when you're here sitting on one of those fab rattan furniture. I'll talk more about it next time. And noteworthy to mention is the superb service of staff! Friendly and pleasant. :-)

Lounging and unwinding on Costa Pacifica's outdoor pool is perfect. Materials are non-slippery but never rough. Another reason why I really love this resort!
At this moment, I can truly say, I'm living the life I'm dreaming! Hope you do, too! Cheers!

    1. Thanks! Yes, there's a few meters of unpaved road along Maria Aurora but light cars can still pass. I suggest you leave early morning like 5:30 or 6:00am. Travel time is 6 or more hours. :-)
