A Day with Friends at Corazon

The last time a few of my Xsentrix's friends and I got to meet-up, we did a lot of eating and chatting. We are cozily spending half of our day with the company of each other, catching-up,  which we can normally do only during long holidays of the year since some are living from another city, some abroad.




The place where we seated ourselves and have good food to complete our good company is at Corazon at the East wing of Edsa Shangrila Plaza.




This restaurant is always crowded. And the diners seemed to be happy so I guess that's what made us chose this restaurant, too. After all, what the resto name means, is what much of our topics on the table was - heart matters. :-)



Filipino-hispanic cuisine is what Corazon's menu is all about. The selection of ordinary Filipino and Spanish food were made special by the chef's prowess, in the name of Florabel Co. She's also the one behind Elias and Crisostomo. What the restaurant can boast other than its tasty dishes is its antique-looking interior that makes it more inviting for a sumptuous lunch or dinner.

We tried their pandesal topped with kesong puti, chorizo and egg as appetizer. It is served with potato chips. It was followed short after by the all-time favorite pansit - Bam-i Guisado, Php 395

For our main entrees, we had yummy grill seafood, Aragon, paired with their signature Paella Mariscos, Php 525.

Mouth watering, large servings and all so good for us. I think this restaurant is worth the try even it's a little pricey. After dinner, I think we had to walk some more around the mall. ;-)
