Hello Monday!

It's like a pre-heated oven outside at thirty six degrees to forty. And I'm like ice cream. This summer heat is such a challenge. The sun is out and seemingly eager to get you roasted or toasted, if you don't know how to cool-off.

I find it a real challenge now on how to choose an outfit that would give me enough exposure (or cover) from the "angry" sun rays of summer.

I've found this chambray skirt from Regatta a few seasons back. I love that this comfy light-weight soft material is also on a perfect length to give me enough cover. It's not tight but simply fit just smartly and I can wear it anytime, too.

I've chosen a blue cotton sleeveless shirt with Nautica stripes which is just in for the season to match with it. It's also from Regatta.

One tip I can share now in choosing what to wear for this high temperature is something you already have in your closet, just mix it with something comfy and stylish. If you can't find anything appropriate, get creative. And next time you shop, choose pieces that you can use in any season. Something tells me I'll be using this chambray skirt every so often.
