A few years ago, we had quite a great time visiting our family-friends-god parents in San Francisco and New York. It was our first time in the West and East America. Lots of eats, laughters and new adventures for us and good looking homes, too. My scale of a good, comfortable home - bath tubs.

Call me crazy shallow but that's one of the bathroom accessories we just can't afford because we're on city living with very limited space.

That said, I'm quite happy to share my happy find on the web. I came across this article about those tiny but mighty bathrooms from Homepolish. It reveals secrets on creating the aesthetic trick so you can push those bathroom walls to make it look spacious without getting brawny.

Look!

I say, too cute! How can I make it as my own.

"Whether you’re accessorizing or gut-renovating, we provide a custom and personal service that works. We’ll guide you through the entire interior design process, from floor plans to furniture installation."

Now, I'm with you Homepolish.

I know I can't get their services due to geographical challenge but I'm really into American-designed homes. Maybe, subconscious self has embedded on me how I loved my visits on my relatives and friends in east and west coasts with their charming homes. Well, I guess I really don't know how I'd started this fling with American houses but I'm definitely in awe on any well-planned, quite functional homes and Homepolish is one source of stunning inspirations.

Watch out for more of my finds and someday I might have enough materials to share to you on how I'm making my tiny home looks like it has enough room to swing a cat! Haha.

Live well!

  4. PUSH! The bathroom is the most important room in the house... other than the bedroom. And so I super agree that having a nice bathroom is important. It sets the tone for the rest of the day, right? So make it happen and make yours look bigger than it is.

  6. I believe bathrooms says so much about a person no matter how big or small it is. I'm with you in bathtubs, though. I never really cared for them until I had a place of my own with my hubby where we can enjoy the tub! It's a great way to relax and unwind as well. The bathroom in the photo looks incredibly sweet! I wouldn't mind spending a few hours in there. :)
May your future be filled with gorgeous tubs for your bathroom. Happy holidays!

  7. Been wanting to redo my bathroom for a while now so I often find myself looking at bathrooms in Pinterest. Loved some of the designs you shared, really polished and minimalistic. I have to check this store, but for now I just can't buy anything until I'm sure on how I want it to be!

  8. I can stay in that bathroom all day! Yes, if I can afford it and if I have a bigger bathroom space, a bathtub is something I would love to have in my own loo! I can imagine myself reading a favorite novel while enjoying a soak in the tub! Bliss! Hopefully, I can get to have my own bathtub when we get our own place! :)

  9. Very beautiful interiors! Although I admire it, I probably can't live on it. I thrive on the mess and the clutter, so maintaining it would be daunting. I'd love to have an AirBNB house that has the same features though!

  10. If that's how my bathroom looks like I'd probably sleep inside the bathroom hahaha... It looks white and clean, unfortunately it cannot be done in my bathroom as I am just renting and the tiles are of color orange, definitely cannot change that or I might get evicted. But those pictures of bathrooms that you posted in here, they are definitely my dream!

  11. I agree that American homes are charming and they can be quite spacious. Our advantage with regards to our home though compared to theirs (well, based on the houses of my relatives in California, New Jersey, Georgia, Tennesee, etc.) is that ours is sturdier. Anyway, we may not be able to avail Homepolish, but we truly use our output as our inspiration. I'm sure our talented interior designers can also do a great job of pulling off our dream interior design.

  16. One of the shallow reasons I want to have a house of my own is to be able to build the bathroom of my dreams. Haha! I love your pegs here, I will be pinning some of them to my Pinterest board for reference!

  17. wow, those bathroom designs are all so ridiculously beautiful! everything looks extra nice when they're sparkling white, don't they? But is it practical to have such a stark white bathroom? I can only imagine how much of a headache it will be trying to keep the bathroom as clean and white as day 1.
