Hola! Happy New Year my dear!

It's always been a good time to start the year with some resolutions and goal setting. I've drafted a few ones before the year 2016 ended but I haven't published it yet. It's a good attempt but failed. I hope the process of writing it down and sharing them with you will not precede how I intend to achieve them. But failing on that one seems to fire me up and be mad on sharing more important news - my new haircut! Haha.

Well, it's on my 'to-do' list that has been harder to do each passing time because there's just too many things going on that needed more of my attention. Who hasn't anyway? But gladly, I squeeze in a "me time" even I'm a bit not feeling well that time but had to get out from the house and ran a few more errands than just having a haircut.

Didn't I mention before that there's bliss for me in being productive than bored? Well, I'm feverishly very happy! *face palm

Starting this year with a chill update, here's my hair story. Tada!

I only have mine from a reliable hair salon. There are actually only three on my list that makes my schedule tighter to accomplish BUT I'm a very loyal person, you know. I value good quality which for me is essential even if it means I have to wait availability of the stylist I only trust my hair with.

It's a trial and error though before I find the chosen ones. Lol. Here are the styles that I'd like to copy for the year.

1. Anne Curtis' Bob Cut

2.  Heart Evalingelista's Mid-length Do

3. Cat Arambulo's Super Short Bob

But I fear that it won't be the same for me, so I just stick to my guns. And here's my new do.

The process of getting things done is the highlight of my story.

I have to create time for it, exert effort even. Have to have that mindset of NOW OR NEVER! Or something like BY HOOK OR BY CROOK. Lol!

Isn't it amazing that you completed one task out from your list? Do you also find joy in ticking a check on those small boxes from that checklist of yours? I do hope I've inspired you enough today by my life-changing event - a new haircut for 2017. 😂

Cheers to our new year! Let's start the ball rolling for 2017.

  1. I think I may be missing something... but tama ba? You did not change your hair style? It is also on my to do list. Getting a haircut was supposed to be on January 1, but I had mine on the 6th. Better late than never huh?

  3. I'd love to have a new haircut. I'm not adventurous when it comes to getting my hair cut. I'd love to try a short do but I'm not sure if it would look good on me. I like the long straight hair look.

    1. To others its enough that we keep our tresses neat. But you know, we sometimes want to prettify and style. ;)

  4. I really need to go the salon soon! Your post reminded me of one of my plans this year... To get a new haircut or to have my hair curled again. I guess I need to make up my mind first. ;)

  5. I also cut my hair in time for the new year! Well actually, the real reason why I chopped my hair was because it was hot and there was no power in our area because we were struck by typhoon then. I was after Christmas when it happened. The new do looks good on you! I usually have my hair cut / colored in a salon in our province. I'm also loyal when it comes to salons. But when I'm here in the metro, I only go to one salon also. Haha!

  6. Having a new haircut is definitely refreshing! I like medium hair as they make me feel breezy as if I have short hair and at the same time, still able to style my hair as if it is long. It is so versatile. There are a lot of hair-do that you can do with medium hair! :)

  7. I have stuck with same hair cut ever since I was a small child. For me my hair style is my distinct personality but I admire all those. including you, who experiment with all things new. It tells a a lot about one's fearlessness.
